The J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association Organizes Diaper Drive For Montgomery County Families

Posted March 29, 2021 at 8:20 PM

The J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association’s Montgomery County Committee is partnering with the Silver Spring Christian Reformed Church to help young families in need. Diapers are one of the biggest expenses families have; they take up a large part of household income.  This spring, a diaper drive has been organized to help young families with this expense.  If you are interested in donating, please follow this link to make an online donation.  If you would like to donate in person, diapers will be collected on April 17, between 10 am – noon in the parking lot outside of the Montgomery County Bar Building, 27 West Jefferson Street, Rockville, MD. The online donation deadline is April 12th.

“The Silver Spring Christian Reformed Church currently provides food to roughly 750 families weekly,” said Miller, Miller & Canby’s  Raymond Gambrill, who is a member of the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association and volunteers his time for a number of community initiatives.  “We are trying to help families with additional expenses at a time when many of our neighbors are struggling,” he added.
