Miller, Miller & Canby Welcomes Attorneys Scott Mirsky and Kevin D’Anna to Firm

Miller, Miller & Canby is pleased to announce that Scott Mirsky and Kevin D’Anna have joined our firm as Principals. Mr. Mirsky joins the Employment Law and Employment Litigation practices and Mr. D’Anna joins the Real Estate and Business Law practices.  

In a career that has spanned over 25 years, Mr. Mirsky focuses his practice on advising and litigating construction, business, and employment disputes. His experience spans non-compete and trade secret disagreements, employment claims, issues concerning independent contractors, intellectual property infringement cases, complex construction issues, wage and overtime disputes under the FLSA and state law, and breach of contract claims. He has more than 20 years of experience representing individuals and businesses in diverse civil matters throughout the Washington, DC region. His litigation practice covers pre-litigation counseling risk and litigation management trials, hearings, arbitrations, and appeals before federal and state courts.

Mr. D’Anna regularly advises financial institutions in connection with asset-based, real estate, and USDA and SBA guaranteed loan transactions. In addition, he has become trusted outside counsel for a myriad of local and regional businesses of varying size and industry, providing legal advice on matters ranging from business formation to disposition. He has successfully closed a multitude of commercial loan and M&A transactions from both sides of the table.
