Miller, Miller & Canby Sponsors “Bethesda & New Mixed-Use Projects” Roundtable

Posted November 12, 2012 at 6:16 PM

Thirty years after the 1982 Bethesda CBD Sector Plan stimulated the now famous “Bethesda Beauty Contest” more than 400 real estate professionals as well as Miller, Miller & Canby attorneys, Bob Gough, Mike Campbell, Damon Orobona, Sue Carter and Somer Cross, attended the Bisnow Bethesda and New Mixed-Use Project Conference on November 7th and listened as MM&C lead attorney Jody Kline moderated a panel of developers and lenders active in the market. Discussion on Bethesda, touted as the “crown jewel” of Montgomery County, ranged from a review of projects now on the boards to the climate for financing and the demand for retail, residential and office uses. As Bethesda enters a time of redevelopment and infill planning, Kline and his panelists noted the strength and continued appeal of this vibrant submarket to both businesses and residents of all ages and demographics.
