Posted March 2, 2026 at 12:46 PM

Miller, Miller & Canby is pleased to announce our firm’s continued partnership with the Lambda Alpha International’s George Washington Chapter. 2026 marks the 25th year of our sponsorship of the organization.

Lambda Alpha International (LAI) is an honorary, networked international association for distinguished professionals in all fields related to the use and development of land. LAI’s mission is to connect professionals, share knowledge and advance best practices in land economics. The 2,200-plus members of LAI make valuable connections locally and with peers worldwide. LAI has a network of 32 chapters in North America, Europe, and Asia that offer a variety of programming with top speakers, relevant forums, and events where members engage in discussion and debate about land use, economic, and business issues that matter on a local level.

The George Washington Chapter members represent business, academia, and government, encompassing a broad spectrum of professionals engaged in land economics. Miller, Miller & Canby’s Jody Kline serves as President of the Chapter.

In anticipation of this year’s Semi-Quincentennial (250th year) celebration of the signing of America’s Declaration of Independence, the seven East Region Chapters of the LAI will host a series of programs and tours.  Each of the seven hosting chapters will provide a program featuring the history of architecture, planning, real estate development, economic drivers, and other factors in their respective regions.

The Greater Washington Chapter special events will be held on March 20.
