Posted April 4, 2013 at 2:35 PM

Joe Suntum has been selected as the Maryland representative of the Owners’ Counsel of America, a nationwide network of experienced eminent domain and property rights attorneys dedicated to representing landowners threatened by condemnation and related property valuation litigation. Mr. Suntum succeeds his partner, James L. Thompson, who has been named as an Emeritus Member of the association.

“It is an honor to be appointed as the Maryland Member of the Owners’ Counsel of America and to follow in the footsteps of my partner, Jim Thompson,” said Mr. Suntum. A copy of the press release announcing Mr. Suntum’s appointment may be found by clicking on Download Attachment at the end of this article.

While a major focus of his practice is the representation of Maryland and D.C. property owners in eminent domain litigation, Mr. Suntum also practices in the areas of real estate litigation, complex business litigation, and appellate advocacy. He is among the few exceptional trial lawyers who have successfully tried both murder cases and multi-million dollar civil actions.
