As a Maryland zoning expert in the telecommunications industry, Sean is level-headed, pragmatic and a great communicator. He clearly outlines our options and describes the path forward in the land development and permitting process. We couldn't be happier with the service he provides!
Bert Stern, Chief Development Officer, Centerline Communications
From start to finish, Sean and Jody were very thorough with my matter; they did an excellent job keeping me updated and communicating openly with me about my options. In the end, it worked out very well for me. I have nothing but positive things to say about this firm.
John Miller, Montgomery County Small Business Owner
Sean took my issue to heart and worked to ensure the best outcome for me. He reached out to his contacts in the county, which greatly helped our cause. He attended meetings, provided testimony...each step of the way he communicated with me and we worked together to affect change.
Angela M. Golub, CPA, CGMA
I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Sean Hughes for nearly 20 years. In that time, he has been one of the most competent and prolific wireless telecom land use attorneys I know. Having him on the Board of the MD/DC Wireless Association is both beneficial and exciting. We will put his years of experience and expertise to great use as the MDDCWA represents the wireless telecom community in the Baltimore/Washington market on the issues that directly impact our industry.
David Yacoub President, Maryland DC Wireless Association
I am so grateful to Mr. Hughes. He called me personally and gave me honest, practical advice which solved my issue. He is a true gentleman, highly gifted and astute. I highly recommend Mr. Hughes and Miller, Miller & Canby.

Sean was invaluable in the creation of The Boxer Transfer Network (a dog rescue) -- from setting up the 501(c)(3), to helping obtain zoning approval, to consulting on appropriate, and welcoming, space to accommodate us as we grow. We owe Sean a huge part of our success!
Irene Bain, Executive Director The Boxer Transfer Network, Ltd.
Sean has a unique ability to assess risk, helping us successfully navigate through complex regulatory processes in the DC area market. He is professional, insightful, and a great strategic thinker, and his great demeanor makes him an absolute pleasure to work with.
Len Forkas, President, Milestone Communications, Inc.
I have worked with Sean Hughes for many years and consider him to be one of the most conscientious attorneys I know. Through his years of experience, he offers excellent results and advice, but most importantly his integrity and honesty are his top qualities as a professional.
Tom Kane CEO, Network Building Consulting
From the start, we were reassured to know we could turn to Sean for calm and sure guidance. Leading us through the zoning process, he was very straightforward, laying out the options and risks, and keeping us informed with sound and honest counsel. Sean really went above and beyond for us; we'd trust him with any of our legal matters.
